Well it looks like it was just a loose connection on the board. I was able to power it up, noticed the fan was not wokring. Not sure if it stay on or only when hot. Hooked up some extra USB ports and made some room for the ethernet. Its going to be wireless but I need to be able to hook it via ethernet.
A few more holes with a drill and I should be done. I think it would be easier with a dremel. But thats another tool and more money. O well lets see how this comes out. I still have another old laptop I can make into another frame.
Next week I will bring it to Michaels to see how much it costs to matte the frame with the LCD.
