Welcome everyone to my new blog "Tinker Dad", on these pages I will be sharing the experiences of building, modifying, breaking and just plain having fun with science, gadgets, and technology with my daughters. All in the spirit of learning and fun.
I have two daughters and I want them to grow up with the appreciation and excitement that I learned when I was a child for science and technology. A lot of the posts here will be in a crafts, experiments, or just a DIY of some type of gadget built to learn. I like to try and see if I can use something for purposes it was never intended for, and I want my children to also learn to be as curious as I am about the world around them.
