Last night I helped a friend by piecing out 2 HP DV6000 laptops that each had separate issues. It would have probably been more of a hassle to try and get one working laptop then just taking apart the laptops and parting it out. The whole process was pretty quick actually, and only had one snag when I didn't realize that there were two bolts I forgot to remove near the touch pad. I do need to remember to get some small baggies to put the screws in so they don't get lost.
Seriously man. There's nothing you CAN'T do. (And there's pretty much nothing I CAN do. [jealous])
